Fugu fish also know as poison fish it’s a very popular fish consumed in japan, there’s about 10 blow fish restaurants around the world but Japan is the place to try your first blow fish, many believe that its only safe to eat it in Japan, since the chef are required to study for many years in order to be qualified to be a blow fish expert, the fish has poison in it, that’s why we need to be careful were we eat, and make sure the chef is certified, its an art knowing how to get rid of the poison, in other words if the chef is an amateur, you may die, to be honest I wasn’t that scared to try blow fish in Japan, Japanese people are far from being promiscuous, so I knew I wasn’t really in danger.
Overall I enjoyed the experience I am glad I did it, its something that I will definitely add in my reverse bucket list, and I encourage everyone to try it, its something typically Japanese, in those days of globalization and technology its extremely difficult to find something typical of a certain place, when in a new country, I love to find hidden gems and try new things even taught its difficult, its not impossible.
We ordered two different sets, the food was good, it tasted like sashimi, i diden't really enjoyed much the rice with vegetables and egg, it was like a japanese bibimpab but the consistency was weird.

Eating Fugu fish is not cheap, but we were surprised, that this cute restaurant was actually pretty affordable, we saw online that the cheapest we could get was about 50$ for a person, and we were ready to make this investment for a poison fish experience in Japan, but in this restaurant we got lunch deals for half the price, maybe because it was lunch time, normally lunch deals are always cheaper than dinner.
Ps:Lesson of the day, if you want to try the poison fish in Tokyo, go to this cute charming restaurant in Asakusa at lunch time for a better deal.
