I believe i haven’t mentioned yet, but I went to Baku, primarily because my best friend got married, it was an amazing experience coming to a new country for a wedding and experience the culture in a different way, after the wedding my friend was honeymooning and I was spending time with her friends and family, obviously they are local people so they know the best spots, food and so on, it was truly an amazing time.
So when my dear Sabina, proposed to take me to the beach I really got excited, first of all I love seaside who doesn’t right? And second of all, I wanted to have a more local experience I refused to eat western food because Azeri food is delicious and I wanted to eat as much as I could until I leave, Azerbaijan is beautiful, the structure, culture, architecture, but I never taught that I would go to Baku and end up in a beach club, but when they told me that its very nice, relaxing, and many locals spend their weekends chilling and partying in beach clubs. I got instantly more excited, I was already enjoying Baku and now that there is beautiful seaside beach clubs I knew I would enjoy it much more.
I totally loved seabreeze beach club, they have a swimming pool, beach cabanas, there’s drinks available at the beach, the entrance was about (20 manat=12 usd), you get to enter the beach club, you have the right to a locker, towels, shower, everything is so clean, you also have access to the pool and the private beach.
My favorite part was this cute cozy restaurant in seabreeze, the place was lovely, the food was great, specially the traditional cheese plate, but the service wasn’t consistent, we have been there twice, the first time it was amazing, but the second time it was very bad, my friend kept calling them and complaining in Azeri, but they kept taking so long to basically just bring us two cocktails.
But overall the experience was great, if you want to pay a visit to seabreeze beach club you can take a taxi from downtown, taxis in Azerbaijan are extremely affordable and easy to find.
