Petronas Twin Towers
Kuala Lumpur wouldn’t be the same without the Petronas twin towers, they are magnificent, its the symbol of the country, I wouldn’t say that is the only reason that people will fly to Malaysia, that would be a lie, KL has so much potential, from food, skylines, religion, architecture, but certainly you cant leave Kuala Lumpur without paying a visit to the Twin Towers.
Quick facts about the Petronas Twin towers
Scenes from the movie “Entrapment” with Sean Connery and Catherine Zena-Jones were filmed here in 1999, I know it because I am Sean connery biggest fan.
They are still the tallest twin buildings in the world, There are 88 stories in Petronas Twin Towers.
Masjid Jamek Mosque
Malaysia is a very diverse country, people from all different religions, ethnicities and background manage to all live together peacefully, the amount of Muslim people in the country is about 61.4% of the total population, KL its home to beautiful Mosques and my favorite one, that I keep going back is the Masjid jamek Mosque, I love how beautiful how opulent it looks, and the best part is that little India is just a 5 minutes walking distance.
Last but not least, the amazing Batu caves, one of the most amazing and popular Hindu shrines Outside of India, to get on the top of the Caves you need to climb the 244 steps, the first time I’ve been to KL I didn’t climb, I am too lazy but this time with my family we did all climb together in the last day of the year of 2015.
